Firstly ,Hemanand, in his boyhood in Tirupati, became a disciple of Acharya Sri Tiruttani Krishna Murthy and later went to Acharya Sri Dr. N.Ramani to learn a few melodious pieces of Vaggeyakaras. Hemanand , from his twenties, started learning from Acharya Sri Meenakshi Sundaram of Tirunelveli .Having trained under his preceptors, and with his practice , Hemanand became an infallibe expert in handling nuances of music, enriched with melody.His mastery can be experienced by listening to Bantureethi, Bala Gopala ,Endaro,Manavyala,Munduvenuka,Mayamma, Ninnuvina ,Okapari ,Yaaro Ivar Yaaro and many other compositions.
